Congratulations to Gabriela Ortiz, Ph.D. Student, for winning a Travel Award to participate and present her research entitled: “Inhibitory effect of Ganoderma lucidum extract (GLE) in triple negative metastatic breast cancer migration and protein expression” at the Emory University-Laney Graduate School STEM Research and Career Symposium, which is being held October 1-3, 2017 in Atlanta, GA.
Gabriela is a student in the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences and currently conducts research under the advice and mentorship of Dr. Michelle Martínez-Montemayor, faculty of the Department of Biochemistry at UCC.
