The Center for Bioethics and Biomedical Humanities is charged with the longitudinal curriculum of bioethics and medical humanities. The Center offers the first, second and fourth year courses and oversees educational activities during the clerkships. The staff also participates in the longitudinal curriculum for research by providing lectures on research ethics and on the  Institutional Review Board (IRB). The fourth year course is delivered in collaboration with a cadre of staff and selected students from the Production Department of the Sacred Hearth University.
